The front cover of the photo book. The book was a thin 3-ring binder with the photos taped to the center of sheets of punched black construction paper. I went to the UCI bookstore to buy a large white label to put on the front of the binder with the (as yet unknown) title, at which point I saw the adjacent nametag labels. It was at that point that I came up with the title "Hello my name is MUD". "His name is mud", of course, is an old-fashioned expression of disapproval. Here's the straight dope on the origin of the phrase. |
